Probably one of the worst places to work in my opinion- politics are an all time high in this hospital. If you know the “big players” your chances of getting moved up or a higher pay increase are more likely— guess that’s a small town thing. “Keep your friends close”. This facility can stand to learn a lot from other facilities.
Pay 3+K a week for travelers to work 3 days a week while making staff a “contract” job at $55 an hour to work 5 days a week of 12 hour shifts. Sounds healthy. But don’t worry… With recently implementing a new “ED workflow” they plan to NEVER have an ER wait time, making it to where stable patients get moved to hall beds or rather called “progressive” beds and rooms are for the more sick patients.
