Can only speak for my unit (CICU) but PTO is nearly always approved. I rarely feel stressed or overworked. We do float often because we have excess staff but I prefer this to the alternative, which is short staffing. The unit is rather hi tech without being overly so. Co workers are mostly very young/new RNs. Overall a good place to work. |

I’ve spoken with nurses who have been here for years and the pay is exactly the same. Benefits are meh. But we’re in the process of unionizing as of now (fall’23) |

At least they haven’t increased our patient ratios. |
